Children's Choirs
First Baptist Church has two Children's
Choirs that meet from 6-6:50 pm on Wednesdays. Jennifer
Thomas and Kim Lay work with the K-2 children while Katee and
Jake Johnson teach the children in grades 3-5 with the assistance
of Jean Davis. Twice a year the two choirs combine to present
special Christmas and spring programs. The choirs also enjoy singing
periodically in the worship services.
The Children's Choirs recently presented a
marvelous performance of their Christmas musical "Miracle
on Main Street." Any child in these age groups is invited
to participate in the ongoing activities of these choirs.
