worshiping god

Worship is meant to glorify God and build up the body of Christ.

  • Sunday morning worship

Every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. In addition to the message, Sunday Worship features prayer, special music by groups, congregational singing, and choir specials. A children's story is also included; the service may include baptisms and/or the Lord’s Supper, which is celebrated periodically. We stress substance over style so it's not unusual to experience a blend of traditional and contemporary elements of worship.

  • First fruits celebrations

On the first Sunday night of each month, a First Fruits Celebration  is held at 6 PM. Often less formal, the service ranges from special music by visiting individuals or groups to other special events such as our "End of Summer Splash" pool party, It's for all ages and sometimes students and children are in charge of the service. We always share finger-foods and unrushed time around the table to wrap up this meaningful time of worship and fellowship. (When Covid Protocols allow we will begin having First Fruits).

  • Wednesday nights

Wednesday Nights are special at our church for all ages.  The night begins with an evening meal at 5:30 (meals rotate between prepared every other Wednesday by our excellent kitchen committee or potluck) followed by praise, prayer and worship, and adult choir practice. After the meal, children meet for music, mission and Bible skills while middle school and high school students meet for discipleship and Bible study.
