Welcome to the Student Ministry of First Baptist Church of Bryson City! We want to partner with families in providing a safe and encouraging environment for the faith formation of students.
middle and high school students
on mission
Students are on mission at home and at school every day! We look for ways to be faithful witnesses to God's love in all we are doing.
Each summer we alternate between regional Mission Trip and Retreat experiences. In the meantime we emphasize regularity in local missions, personal retreats, corporate worship, and private devotion.
Upperclassmen can participate in the Keystone Mission Experience, an international or in country cross-cultural experience designed to integrate student learning with faithful hands-on action.

Pray for Me: Committed adults are paired with a students to pray for and encourage them in their faith.
Covenant Groups: These groups are designed for any disciple who desires to go deeper than is possible in a large group setting. Students support and encourage one another in small groups.
Noteworthy! Music, drama, liturgical dance, and worship leadership as scheduled.
Connect: Special quarterly or monthly events like movies, snow skiing, pool parties, hikes, concerts, bonfires, or a dinner event hosted by a family of the church.
